Embark on a thrilling day trip from Ouarzazate to Skoura Oasis, Kasbah Amredhil, and Dades Valley. Hop on a 4×4 for a morning departure to Skoura oasis, where you’ll witness a sight to behold – Kasbahs nestled among palm trees. Take a stroll through the oasis, admiring the olive, fruit, and palm trees. Make a stop at Kasbah Amredhil, a fascinating example of multi-generational Berber life that now houses a small museum with a display of interesting agricultural and kitchen equipment.

Next, follow the main road to the Valley of Roses, also known as the Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs. Stop at Kela’a M’gouna to see and try locally produced rose cosmetics, which are highly valued across Morocco. The best time to visit is early May, during the three-day Rose Festival. As we continue on the track, we pass through the river and the villages, where you can witness the breathtaking rock formations and colors.

Stop to have a glass of tea with Berber nomads in their caves and then have lunch in the Dades gorges. Take a pause to marvel at the famous “monkeys’ fingers” rocks across the river before taking a walk along the river.
